Using Sheriff Court Records for Genealogy Research with Emma Maxwell, Professional Genealogist on zoom

Sheriff Court records are packed with useful and interesting details for family history research. From criminal court cases to paternity cases and wills to apprenticeship records, we find it all in the records of the Sheriff Court. In this presentation, we will look at the organisation of the Sheriff Courts, how to access the records and how to use them for family history research. 

This class is £15 for non members and £10 for members. This is a zoom class and will last for 2 hours with time after for questions.
