Becoming a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO)

On Thursday, 11th April 2024, during an Extraordinary General Meeting, the Society's members passed five resolutions to enable the Society to become a SCIO.

The initial phase of this process involves applying to OSCR (Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator) for the establishment of a charity named Scottish Genealogy Society (SCIO).
