The Scottish Genealogy Society
Membership The Society is a registered charity (no: SC 016718) and relies on the subscriptions of its members and the sale of publications. If you are of Scottish descent and are interested in your family history then we very much hope that you will consider becoming a member. You will be very welcome. There are no formal requirements for membership, no joining fee and the annual subscription is very reasonable, being only 16 pounds sterling or equivalent. You can join the Society on-line here (existing members can renew their subscriptions on-line here). As a member you will not only be giving active support to the important work of the Society but you will be able to enjoy the many benefits of membership. These include our quarterly magazine, The Scottish Genealogist, where you can publish details of your interests and queries or contribute articles, substantial discounts on many of the Society's publications, free access to the Library and Family History Centre and participation in events organised by the Society. We are also very keen to establish links with similar organisations around the world and welcome applications for affiliate membership Please note that an annual subscription runs for one year from the date of payment. For instance, if you pay on 10th October, your subsciption will last until the same date in the following year. |
